thought I’d better create somewhere to jot down all those random thoughts one has at odd moments… I suppose I could use a pen and paper… but I decided to just add a page here then all my notes about this project are in one place…
- flowers wandering across the woven cloth at will…
- secrets… I read a book, as a child, called ‘The Secret Garden’ must try and find it…
- maybe a field of sunflowers… with lots of hiding places and pathways…
- mossy stonewalls with half hidden doorways…
- bees & honey…
- perhaps a potting shed & greenhouse…
- or a few mythical beasts…
- children or at least glimpses of them playing hide and seek…
- water… or at least the illusion of… I like the idea of the ’sound’ of water… though stitching the ’sound’ of water onto this woven cloth might prove difficult…!
friday 25th jan.
- saw the perfect old wall with green house attached today… shame I didn’t have my camera… I’ve been playing with ‘jetFX – a unique inkjet transfer paper’… so that I can printout some of my doorway photos… I can just see a doorway surrounded by climbing plants…
Wed. 30th Jan.
- ‘how does your garden grow….’ this nursery rhyme came to mind while pondering over my woven cloth… now I know I have some fabric with sea shells on somewhere… but where…???
